WRITING STYLE

The writing style for the book should be first person ("when I sat down I saw") . The story should have a beginning, middle and ending. It should be all true, NO fictional characters or events. (Alisias may be used to protect identities)

The story should take up a minimum of one page and maximum of 3. It should be raw but end with some sort of uplifting finish. Imagine your writing a letter to an old friend explaining the situation and experience in its severity but letting them know you've overcome, or are currently trying to overcome it resiliently.

The story does not need to be a SPECFIC occurrence of trauma, as trauma survivors often deal with trauma response in lack of memory. It could be as simple as telling a friend how you felt during the experience, how it effected you mentally/ physically/spiritually and how you managed to deal with the situation
